China, Pakistan hold 3rd strategic dialogue

China and Pakistan held the 3rd Strategic Dialogue in Beijing from May 12 to 13 to discuss bilateral ties and issues of common concern.

Assistant Foreign Minister Hu Zhengyue and Pakistani Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir co-chaired the dialogue. No details from the meeting were released.

Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi also met Bashir on the sidelines of the dialogue. During their meeting, Yang and Bashir vowed to continuously cement the Sino-Pakistani all-weather friendship and enhance cooperation in various fields so as to promote the sustained and in-depth development of the bilateral strategic cooperative partnership.
