Wen returns home after 11th China-EU summit
Adjust font size:

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao returned home on Thursday morning after attending the 11th summit between China and the European Union(EU).

Wen and EU leaders exchanged views on the current global financial crisis, climate change, and some other international issues of common concern during the half-day summit.

The two sides also signed three agreements on cooperation in clean energy, science and technology and small and medium-sized enterprises.

The 11th China-EU summit was originally set for last December, but was postponed because French President Nicolas Sarkozy, whose country was then holding the rotating EU presidency, met with the Dalai Lama in Poland a few days before the summit.

The next China-EU summit will be held in Beijing in the latter half of this year.
