A Yemeni official confirmed on Wednesday that rescue teams have succeeded to locate one of the two black boxes belonging to Yemeni Airlines A310 jet which crashed Tuesday off Comoros coasts, Yemeni News Agency (SABA) reported.
The sources told SABA on the condition of anonymity that the combing operations resulted in spotting one of the two black boxes, adding that the black box will be recovered soon.
The Yemeni Airlines A310 crashed in the Indian ocean with 153 passengers on board half an hour before reaching its destination in Comoros. The air jet was on road from Yemeni capital Sana'a to Moroni, the capital of Comoros.
Rescue teams have succeeded to recover few bodies from the ocean. Only one survivor, a 14-year-old girl, has been spotted at the ocean. A research aircraft found some debris of the plane near the supposed area of the sea.
