UN: Evidence of war crimes found in Gaza conflict
Adjust font size:

A UN mission on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza has found evidence that both Israeli and the Palestinian forces committed "war crimes".

In a report released Tuesday, the mission said its investigation concluded that "Israel committed actions amounting to war crimes, possibly crimes against humanity" during its Dec. 27-Jan. 18 military operations in the Palestinian territories.

It also said Palestinian armed groups committed war crimes and possibly crimes against humanity by firing rockets into southern Israel.
