Adjust font size:

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on Monday successfully test-fired its home-made Sejil missile, local English-language Press TV reported.

"Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has successfully test- fired Sejil missile," Press TV said.

Sejil is said to have a range of 2,000 kilometers.

Meanwhile, the semi-official Fars news agency said "it was the first time that IRGC uses a two-stage missile with solid fuel in war games," adding that it shows Iran's abilities of strategy and defense in the face of any threat.
