Indian school creates ties with China

An Indian student learns Chinese characters in Tagore International School in New Delhi, Sept 11, 2014. The school, established in 1972, has more than 1,800 students, including six Chinese. The Confucius Institute Headquarters sent a teacher to instruct students in calligraphy, Chinese language and taijiquan, a kind of traditional Chinese shadow boxing. Sister-school relationships have been established with Shanghai Jinyuan senior high school and a middle school attached to Shandong University. Students have been sent to China to participate in cultural exchange activities. [Photo/Xinhua]
