Tanzania to host China-Africa business forum

Tanzania is to host a business forum for China and at least 14 African countries to promote trade and economic cooperation between participants.

Some 300 business people are expected to take part in the three-day forum to be held in Dar es Salaam between Dec.1 and 3, and they are coming from Cameroon, China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe and the host Tanzania.

It will be the second business forum held in Tanzania this year for the Asian country and African countries.

In June, some 300 Chinese business people met in Dar es Salaam with as many their counterparts from Tanzania and surrounding countries before signing millions of dollars worth of contracts and agreements.

The Dar es Salaam China-Africa business forum is to be jointly sponsored by China's China-Africa Business Council and the Tanzania Investment Center. round development in various sectors of China and also serve as guidance for Vietnam.
