Venezuelan, Singaporean and Grenadian Leaders to Visit China

Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias, President of Venezuela, will pay a state visit to China from August 22 to 27 at the invitation of President Hu Jintao.

 

Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng will pay an official visit to China from August 21 to 27 at the invitation of Vice Premier Wu Yi.

 

During the visit, Wu and Wong will co-chair the third meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation and the eighth meeting of the Joint Steering Committee of the Suzhou Industrial Park.  

 

Grenadian Deputy Prime Minister Gregory Bowen will pay an official visit to China from August 21 to 27.

 

Gregory Bowen, who is also Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Forestry and Fisheries, is invited by the Chinese government.  

 

Liu Jianchao, spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, announced this Tuesday.
