China on Friday condemns the bomb attacks on a convoy of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto in the southern port city of Karachi.

"China sternly condemned the explosion. We hope Pakistan will maintain social stability," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao.

Up to 110 people were killed and over 200 others were injured in two suicide blasts near Benazir Bhutto's vehicle in Karachi early Friday morning, according to Pakistani media reports.
