25 militants killed by Pakistani security forces

Pakistani security forces have killed some 25 al Qaida-linked militants in a fighting in the South Waziristan region near Afghan border, the military said on Wednesday.

 

The fighting took place late Tuesday in South Waziristan where Taliban and al-Qaida-linked militants are operating, said army spokesman Maj. Gen. Waheed Arshad.

 

He said no casualties on the side of security forces.
