A flock of birds are practicing hard for the upcoming "Bird Olympics", which will be held this August in Weifang, a city in eastern China's Shandong Province.

Since last August, these birds have been receiving training from 70-year-old bird lover Lun Jishu. The training includes wrestling, weight lifting, bicycle racing, and balance beam.

Lun told China News Service that he has planned to hold a "Bird Olympics" this August in a local forest park, to celebrate this year's Beijing Olympics.

These birds will be released after their appearance at this special Olympics.
