At the women's hockey championship at Beijing's Olympic Green Hockey Field Monday evening, world ranked #2 Australia drew even with host China 2-2 after 85 minutes. In penalty stroke competition, the Hockeyroos bested China 3-1 before going ahead to win the championship 5-3.
