The Hong Kong Observatory launched a special weather website Friday to provide weather services to the Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Events.

The weather website is http://olympic.weather.gov.hk/index.htm.

The latest venue-specific weather forecasts and warnings, real- time weather conditions as well as Air Pollution Indices from the Environmental Protection Department will be displayed on this special weather website.

Also starting Friday, on-site weather observers are deployed to monitor meteorological conditions at the event venues round-the-clock, the Hong Kong Observatory said.
