Chinese guard Liu Wei is Okay for Friday's last game at the Diamond Cup men's basketball tournament, China's team manager Hu Jiashi said on Thursday.

Liu collided with Australia's Matthew Nielsen towards the end of the first quarter and was taken off. He did not come back to the court and left the stadium after the break on Wednesday.

Hu said Liu took examination in a local hospital, which showed some minor muscle sprains on his belly.

"He will be ready for tomorrow's game. His ribs were not hurt, don't worry," Hu said.

Liu, 28, China's starting point guard, has played with Yao Ming, Houston Rockets' center, for 11 years in the national team and the Shanghai Sharks of the China's Basketball Association league.
