China and Sweden tied 1-1 at halftime in their Group E match of the Olympic women's soccer tournament in Tianjin on Wednesday.

Striker Xu Yuan put China ahead in the 6th minute before Sweden equalized in the 38th minute with a goal from striker Lotta Schelin.
