Mexican divers trained on Wednesday at the "Water Cube" towards their participation in the 29th Olympic Games in Beijing.

Pacheco won a bronze medal in the diving World Series that took place late May in Nanjing, Southeast China.

Experts say the Mexican team has high possibilites of winning two medals.

Divers Paola Espinoza and Tatiana Ortiz also practiced their synchronized jump from the 10m platform.

Trainer Ma Jin led the training day for Espinoza, Ortiz, Pacheco and German Sanchez, while veteran Jorge Rueda trained Jashia Luna and Yahel Castillo.

Yahel Castillo practised a 3.9 difficulty degree jump hoping to reach the final for he has trained hard since the World Cup that was held in February.
