Indonesian Liliyana Natsir and Nova Widianto, the world's No. 1 badminton mixed doubles pair, advanced into the semifinals at the Olympic Games on Thursday.

They crushed Sudket Prapakamol and Saralee Thoungthongkam from Thailand at 21-13, 21-19.

Liliyana said after the match her pair played a lot better than in the previous match. "Today we clicked really quickly".

She commended the Thai pair for their improvement since a match against them, saying the Thai pair "are definitely developing into a dangerous team."

The Indonesians will meet He Hanbin and Yu Yang from China in the semifinals. "We have met the Chinese pair before and we have beaten them twice. We can win this tournament," said Widianto.
