The United States proved a much better Dream Team than most of previous ones by crashing Greece 92-69 at the men's basketball competitions at the Beijing Olympic Games on Thursday.

The UShad a perfect record of 3-0 and beating their opponents by as many as 25 points on the average.

Kobe Bryant and Chris Bosh had 18 points each. Dwyane Wade had 17 points, six steals, five assists and three rebounds, while Lebron James contributed 13 points, six assists, six rebounds and three blocks for the U.S.

After the first half ended 20-16 to the U.S., the Americans showed their supremacy by a series of showpieces of jams, alley-oops and reverse dunks.

Theodoros Papaloukas led Greece, which beat the US101-95 in the semi-finals of the 2006 World Championships in Japan, by 15 points and eight rebounds while Vasileios Spanoulis adding 14.

The Greeks were beaten up on the floor as they let out 15 steals to their opponents and committed 25 turnovers throughout the match.

"We did a great job preparing for this team. I thought we matched their physicality and we were very, very aggressive ourselves," American Carlos Boozer said.

"They played much better defence, much more aggressive. They knew what to do to take us out of our game," Nikolaos Zisis said when he compared the game to the one two years ago at the World Cup.
