Subway Line 10 opening soon
Adjust font size:

According to Beijing Railway Management Co. Ltd, Subway Line 10 will go into use in the middle of July. The complete circuit will take about 44 minutes, the Beijing News reported.

The Beijing Railway Management Co. Ltd noted yesterday that it would take 44 minutes and 1 second starting from Bagou Station to Jinsong Station, while the return journey would take 43 minutes and 58 seconds. The tiny change in time is caused by minor differences in railway conditions between the up and down lines.

The train will stop for 50 seconds at the five big stations and less than 30 seconds at other stations.

Fang Shaoxuan, assistant chief engineer of the Beijing Railway Management Co. Ltd, was quoted as saying that Subway Line 10 uses the most advanced wireless movable signal system, which could shorten the interval between two trains to 3 minutes. Linking Zhong Guancun district, Olympic Park and the CBD, the line is already being tested.
