Russian gymnastics national team coach forecasted fierce competition at the Beijing Olympic Games, saying it would help many teams to show their best chances for the victory.

"The team's mood is normal. On July 16, we leave for Astana to take part in the World Cup. Its results will finalize the Olympic team," Irina Viner was quoted by the Itar-Tass news agency as saying during the team's try-on of Olympic suits.

"I hope that the upcoming games will be less worrisome and painful than those in Athens. Usually my intuition does not fail. In any case, some of my forecasts often come true. I feel who will win, but will keep silent," Viner added.

The head coach said that one need to have a great desire for victory as well as work hard in order to win at the Olympics, and this is the traditions of the Russian gymnastics school.
