Yana Klochkova will be the Ukrainian flag bearer at the 2008 Beijing Olympics opening ceremony, local media reported Wednesday.

The 26-year-old swimmer, who was born in Ukraine's southern city of Simferopol, won five Olympic medals in her career, with four of them being gold.

Klochkova has also won ten titles at the world championships and nineteen European championships titles.
