Adjust font size:

Tremendous changes have taken place in Beijing since it won the bid to host the 2008 Olympics seven years ago, the Spanish newspaper ABC said in a special report on Monday.

The article said Beijing has established some modern architecture such as the Bird's Nest, the National Grand Theater, the new CCTV headquarters and new Beijing Airport Terminal.

Beijing has also improved its transportation system by building new subway lines and roads and made the city more green.

The Beijing Olympics will present a great Asian country with a 30-year fast economic growth to the world, the article said.
