Science exhibition showcases Olympic technology

An exhibition opened at China Science & Technology Museum on Saturday showcasing many examples of the technology used for preparing for the Olympic Games. The exhibition is part of a National Science and Technology Week program, reports the Beijing Times.

Many of the exhibits are related the Olympic torch relay including the apparatus used to light the Olympic flame and the lantern used to hold the flame.

Visitors can also have a short workout with the physical training equipment designed for the Olympic athletes.

The exhibition will run through May 23.
