112-year-old cuts paper for Olympics
Adjust font size:

A member of the Nanjing Folk Artists' Association describes a papercut created by Hu Jiazhi, a 112-year-old artist, July 15, 2008. It took her more than a month to finish three paper cuts. Each one features the Olympic Chinese seal, the five Olympic rings, lucky clouds and eight doves, which represent luck, peace and unity. The elderly artist will pick her favorite one and present it to the Beijing Olympic Committee as a gift through the Nanjing Artists' Association.[Asianewsphoto]
