In the western corner of Tian'anmen Square, the flower terrace themed "A Harmonious Society Brought about by the Reform and Opening-up" is decorated by the rainbow gates and the Chinese knots and a colorful brook flowing down from the flower mountain. The brook has the pattern of 56 flowers and joined hands symbolizing the unity of 56 nationalities of China.
