Torchbearer Dawuti Aximu reached People's Square at 11:25 AM and lit the cauldron to mark the end of the Torch Relay Kashi, the second stop in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

The relay had started from Id Kah Square shortly before 10 a.m., with five-time-world-record-setting highwire walker Adili Wuxiuer running the first leg.

The Olympic flame was relayed across the 7.43-kilometer route in Kashi by 208 torchbearers. On Thursday, the flame will be relayed in the two final stops in Xinjiang, Shihezi and Changji.
