Olympic flame comes to Qinghai Lake

The Beijing Olympic torch was passed along the attractive Qinghai Lake Monday morning in the the second leg of the torch relay in northwestern China's Qinghai Province.

One hundred and sixty two torch bearers took part in the 6-kilometer relay along the Qinghai Lake.

Daga ran the first segment. The surgeon headed a medical team to save more than 1,000 lives in the aftermath of the Wenchuan earthquake.

The flame will next travel to Xining, the provincial capital, on Tuesday.
