Hong Suk-man of the Republic of Korea won the gold medal of the Men's 400m T53 with 47.67 seconds to set a new world record at the National Stadium,also known as the Bird's Nest,during the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing on September 11, 2008.
