Robert Welbourn of Great Britain has the second best time, 4:12.22.

Defending champion Benoit Huot of Cacomes is third, 4:14.22.

Women's 400m Freestyle - S10 Heats

Susan Beth Scott of United States has the fastest time of 4:40.10.

Katarzyna Pawlik of Poland will try to defend her title in this event, coming second in 4:41.54.

Ashley Owens of the United States, bronze medalist at the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games, comes third in 4:43.18.

Men's 50m Backstroke - S1 Final

Silver medalist in Athens 2004, Christos Tampaxis of Greece has the fastest time at 1:19.69.

Joao Martins of Portugal, who won the bronze in Athens 2004, comes second in 1:34.92.

Due to the fact that there are six competitors in this event, no heats will be disputed and swimmers will progress directly to the Final.

Men's 50m Backstroke - S2 Heats

Defending champion Jim Anderson of Great Britain will seek to win another medal in this event, coming first in 1:04.70.

Anderson's biggest threat comes from Dmitry Kokarev of Russia, who qualified second in 1:04.97 and already has two golds and one silver.

Women's 50m Backstroke - S2 Heats

Sara Carracelas of Spain qualified first, well ahead of the pack in 1:17.74.

The second best time belongs to Danielle Watts of Great Britain, 1:22.26.

Men's 50m Backstroke - S3 Heats

Min Byeong-eon of the Republic of Korea is the world record holder and qualified fastest in 49.94 seconds.

Yip Pin Xiu of Singapore holds the world record in this event and comes first in qualification in 1:00.80.

Men's 50m Freestyle - S4 Heats

Bronze medalist in Athens 2004, David Smetanine of France has the fastest time of 37.65 seconds.

Richard Oribe of Spain has the second time in qualification, 38.36s.

Women's 50m Freestyle - S4 Final

Brazil's Edenia Garcia has the fastest time of 52.50s and Nely Miranda of Mexico qualified second in 52.88s.

Swimmers will have the tough challenge of breaking Japanese defending champion Mayumi Narita's world record of 39.22s.

The seven swimmers competing in this event will progress directly to the final and no heats will be disputed.

Men's 50m Freestyle - S5 Heats

Defending champion Sebastian Rodriguez of Spain qualified first in 33.22.

Silver medalist in Athens 2004, Ukraine's Dmytro Kryzhanovskyy has the second best time of 33.69.

Daniel Dias of Brazil has the third best time of 34.24 but will be aiming to prove that he has got what it takes to win his fifth gold medal at the Games.

Women's 50m Freestyle - S5 Heats

This will be a tight contest between three Beijing 2008 medalists who have very close qualification times.

Defending champion Olena Akopyan of Ukraine has the fastest time of 36.63.

Maria Teresa Perales of Spain comes right behind Akopyan in 37.11.

Bela Hlavackova of Czech Republic follows with 37.90.

Men's 50m Freestyle - S6 Heats

China's Tang Yuan qualified first in a world record time of 30.40.

Anders Olsson of Sweden is Tang's closest threat, coming second in 30.70.

Women's 50m Freestyle - S6 Heats

Mirjam de Koning-Peper of the Netherlands has the fastest time of 36.86.

Doramitzi Gonzalez of Mexico comes third in 37.88 but will be on the lookout to defend her title in this event.

Men's 50m Freestyle - S13 Heats

Seventeen swimmers will battle for a place in the final in this event.

Oleksii Fedyna of Ukraine qualified first in 24.12 seconds, followed by Greece's Charalampos Taiganidis with the second best time of 24.51s.

Defending champion Andrey Strokin of Russia comes third in 25.24s.

Women's 50m Freestyle - S13 Final

Valerie Grand Maison of Canada will be going for her fourth gold in the Games, qualifying first in 27.91s.

Kelley Becherer of United States has the second best time of 28.17s and Prue Watt of Australia comes third in 28.31s.

Since there are eight competitors in this event, no heats will be disputed and swimmers will progress directly to the final.

Men's 4x100m Medley Relay - 34pts Heats

The Australia team is the defending champion and world record holder in this event, qualifying first in 4:22.09.

Ukraine comes second in qualification in 4:25.80.

Great Britain qualified as the third in 4:26.12.

Men's 4x50m Medley Relay - 20pts Heats

Brazil will be trying to defend their title as the team qualified first in the world record time of 2:33.59.

Spain will also be looking for a place on the top of the podium. The team has the second best time of 2:38.06.

Ukraine comes third in qualification in 2:45.55.
