Athens 2004 Paralympic Games gold medalist Robin Ammerlaan of the Netherlands will fight to reclaim his title and Dutch women will battle for Doubles gold when the final matches of the Wheelchair Tennis take place at the Olympic Green Tennis Center on Monday, September 15.

Men's Singles - Open

Athens 2004 gold winner and second seed Ammerlaan, will attempt to reclaim the title as he battles top seed Kunieda Shingo of Japan in the gold medal match. Kunieda has exhibited some stunning performances at these Games and was the first Men's player to win all four majors in the same season in 2007. Kunieda leads Ammerlaan slightly in head-to-heads by 12 to 11. Ammerlaan's last match, against eleventh seed Ronald Vink of the Netherlands, was won by Ammerlaan after three sets, 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (6).

Women's Doubles - Open

Esther Vergeer of the Netherlands, who already won a gold medal in her Singles match on Sunday, September 14, will pair up with Jiske Griffioen in the Doubles to take on fellow Dutch team second seeds Korie Homan and Sharon Walraven in the gold medal match. Vergeer won the Doubles gold medal at Athens and Sydney with a different partner, but the top-seeded Vergeer and Griffioen duo has been beaten only once in 39 tournaments since they first paired up in 2004. Homan only debuted in Wheelchair Tennis in 2003 but has performed well at these Games, nearly winning Sunday's Singles match against Vergeer, while Walraven started competing almost a decade before Homan, winning silver in the Singles at the Sydney 2000 Paralympics.
