A huge root carving named “The Peach Blossom Spring” is one of the most attractive artwork at Taoyuan Craft and Art Museum in Changde city, Central China’s Hunan province. Measuring 15.88 meters long, 6.3 meters wide and 3 meters high, the artwork was declared as the biggest willow root sculpture by Guinness World Record in September 2017. Based on the famous Chinese tale “The Peach Blossom Spring” written by Tao Yuanming in 421, the artwork describe the process of a fisherman’s chance discovering an ethereal utopia where people lead an ideal existence in harmony with nature and unaware of the outside world for centuries.
