Huang Quanhua, secretary of Hongxing Village branch of the Communist Party of China (CPC), visit a construction site in a company in Hongxing Village of Hanzhong, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, Jan. 12, 2018. In a fight against poverty, Hongxing Village established a collective economic cooperative in May 2017, gathering all of the 651 villagers and their lands in exchange for shares. The cooperative has been a sucess, attracting investment and introducing projects of developing agriculture products. In less than a year, the villagers have been lifted out of poverty, as they earned a total of over 2.4 million yuan (0.37 million U.S. dollars) in 2017.[Photo/Xinhua]
