Students from Myanmar ride across the China-Myanmar border line to go home after study at Yinjing Primary School in Yinjing Village in Ruili, southwest China's Yunnan Province, March 8, 2019. Yinjing Primary School is located on the border of China and Myanmar and it has a total of 135 students, including 36 students from Myanmar. Ruili, a city on the China-Myanmar border, is an important land port located in southwest China. A famous Chinese song named "There is a Beautiful Place" describes the beauty of the city, featuring its unique natural landscape and colorful folklore. In 2010, Ruili was listed as a national opening-up pilot zone, which boosts opening-up and facilitates the mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Myanmar. In 2017, the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding on the set-up of the economic cooperation zone along the China-Myanmar border. More mutual exchanges in wider sectors of education, culture, arts and sports also strengthen the ties between China and Myanmar. (Xinhua/Li Xiaoguo)
