A brick displaying Chinese characters was found during the excavation of a tomb from the late Han Dynasty (206 BC?220 AD) in Xi'an City, Northwest China's Shaanxi Province. Zhu Lianhua, the deputy director of the Xi'an Cultural Relics and Archaeology Research Institute, said despite sand being filled around the tomb to protect it, raiders had struck at the site many times.
