Survivors of lethal quake mourn as Tomb Sweeping Day comes

Paper accessories are burned for the victims of the devastating earthquake that occurred on May 12 last year. Burning paper replicas of valued items is a custom that is believed to send gifts to loved ones who have died. Barbed wires normally surrounding the quake-jolted ruins in Beichuan County, Sichuan Province, have been lifted for four days through China's annual Tomb Sweeping Day, which falls on Saturday this week.
