Taoists plan May 12 memorial ceremony
An elderly couple pay their respects at Yanxian Guan temple where a group of Taoists will carry out a memorial service for victims of the Wenchuan earthquake on May 12, 2009. The temple, near Mianzhu in Sichuan, was the residence of Yan Junping, one of the founders of the Taoist religion during the Western Han Dynasty (207BC-AD25). It was badly damaged in the earthquake and is currently being restored.[John Sexton/China.org.cn]
