2009 marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Since 1949, enormous changes have taken place in China, and many events have gone down in history as a part of the national memory. After 15 years of arduous efforts, the protocol on the PRC's WTO entry was approved and adopted at the Fourth WTO Ministerial Conference held in Doha, capital of Qatar, by representatives from142 members on November 11, 2001.
