Guangji Temple

Guangji Temple, also known as "Hongci Guangji Temple", was originally known as the Xiliulin Temple during the Jin Dynasty. It was rebuilt during the Tianshun Era of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Surrounded by old cypress trees and lush greenery along the deep winding paths, the Beijing Buddhist Culture Research Center was established here in 2002. This ancient Buddhist temple is also the home of the China Buddhist Association.
