World number one Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia raced to a 21-8, 21-16 win over Denmark's Peter Gade to clinch the men's badminton singles title at the US$500,000 World Super Series Masters Finals yesterday in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.

The Olympic silver medalist overcame Gade with nimble footwork and delicate flicks to keep the fourth seed on the back foot throughout the 33-minute match. World number one Zhou Mi of China's Hong Kong beat compatriot Wang Chen 21-14, 21-18 to win the women's singles final.
