One Chinese remains in Dakar Rally

Only one of the four Chinese racers has survived the Dakar Rally after Chen Jianguo on motorbike and Lu Ningjun on car abandoned the race on Sunday.

Wei rides for the Chinese team of Jincheng. He was 187th during the second stage with a time of 7 hours, 39 minutes and 1 seconds, 5:24:13 away from Dutch Frans Verhoeven, who won the second stage of motorbike on Sunday.

Wei was 184th overall.
