Finland's Koivuranta wins Nordic combined event in Germany

Anssi Koivuranta of Finland led all the way to win a Nordic combined World Cup event in Klingenthal, Germany, on Saturday.

Koivuranta finished the 10-kilometer cross-country race in 27 minutes, 16.7 seconds to extend his lead in the overall standings.

Magnus Moan of Norway was second with 15.4 seconds behind.

Jan Schmid of Norway was third, 1:04.1 seconds behind the winner.

Koivuranta's sixth win of the season gave him 1,133 points overall, 63 more than Moan.
