Adjust font size:

The New Jersey Nets Wednesday banned Sean Williams for two games after the center was arrested in Denver for mischief in the public.

The team banned Williams for conduct detrimental to the team.

Williams was arrested on Monday when Police said he got into an argument with a clerk and threw a computer monitor. Williams was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and felony criminal mischief.

Williams was averaging 2.5 points in 30 games this season. He didn't play on Monday against Denver and will miss Wednesday's game at New York and Friday's home game against Miami.
