Spurs beat Warriors to lead division
Adjust font size:

San Antonio's Tony Parker scored 30 points as the Spurs edged off the Golden State Warriors 107-106 and returned to the top of Southwest Division Tuesday.

Tim Duncan played just 24 minutes because of an ailing right quadriceps, but scored 13 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter for the Spurs.

Roger Mason scored 24 points, and made the go-ahead shot with 23.8 seconds to play as San Antonio avoided a three-game losing streak after falling to Boston and Houston last week.

Monta Ellis twice had a chance to win it for Golden State but missed a jump shot with 5.9 seconds left, then rattled an attempt off the rim as time expired.
