Guo Shuang of China won the women's keirin in the world track championships in Pruszkow, Poland on Sunday while Australia finished top of the medals table.

Guo held off France's Clara Sanchez and Willy Kanis of the Netherlands to award China its only medal of the event.

"My race tactics weren't bad," said Guo, "I passed to the front of the group at the start of the second lap which was how I planned. So I'm very satisfied."

In the men's Omnium, Howard Leigh beat Canada's Zachary Bell to win Australia's fourth gold medal.

Australia stood atop of the tally with four golds, four silvers and two bronzes. France was second with three golds, two silvers and one bronze and Britain took two golds, four silvers and three bronzes.
