Magic dispatches Cavaliers to make NBA Finals
Adjust font size:

The Orlando Magic made short work of the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-90 in the game six clash on Saturday to win the Eastern Conference finals and will meet the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals.

Dwight Howard poured in 40 points and 14 rebounds to push the Magic for the 4-2 victory in the best-of-seven series.

Orlando also hit 12 3-pointers to dominate game six as a much-coveted Kobe Bryant-LeBron James NBA Finals showdown wilted.

League MVP James had 25 points for Cleveland but it was clearly not enough.

The NBA Finals begin on Thursday at Los Angeles, who dispatched the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference finals.
