New Barcelona signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be sidelined for three weeks after having surgery on a bone fracture in his left hand, the club confirmed on their website on Tuesday.

The Swedish striker joined from Inter Milan with Samuel Eto'o moving in the opposite direction.

The 27-year-old will join the club's tour of the United States which departs on Wednesday, and could make his debut in a friendly against Manchester City on Aug. 19.
