NBA's Boston Celtics have signed a new deal with forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis on Monday.

"Glen has been a big part of our success for the past two years, and we are very excited to have him back," said team president of basketball operations Danny Ainge.

The 23-year-old, a Boston fan favorite, had been a restricted free agent.

He averaged seven points and four rebounds in 76 regular season games last season, but upped his production in the playoffs averaging 15.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

Terms of the contract were not announced but according to local media reports the deal is for two years and worth 6.3 million dollars.
