China upstaged defending champion South Korea 91-71 in the final of the 23rd Asian women's basketball championship on Thursday.

South Korea's Beon Yeon-Ha scored a game-high 29 points, but it was not enough to prevent China from winning the Asian championship for the 10th time.

Five Chinese players scored double-digit points, with center Chen Nan leading with 17 points and nine rebounds. Ma Zengyu had 16 points, and Bian Lan added 14 points and six rebounds.
