The final round of ticket sales for Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games restarted Saturday morning, with reports from the organizers saying the operations running smoothly.

The ticket sale was originally launched last Saturday on Nov. 7. But the The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) later decided to postpone it to Nov. 14 due to technical problem after visitors hoping to purchase Olympic and Paralympic tickets at www.vancouver2010.com were unable to access the site as previously planned that morning.

According to VANOC's latest news release, the website selling tickets is experiencing high volume of visitors as expected and the wait time for customers is comparable to the first sale days of earlier phases of ticketing program.

VANOC said that over 100,000 tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the third and final phase of tickets sales.

The 2010 Winter Games will be held between Feb. 12 and 28, followed by the Paralympic Winter Games between March 12 and 21.
