Sun Ye of China met little challenge in the final of women's 200m breaststroke, winning the event with a games record at two minutes and 22.59 seconds at the East Asian Games on Wednesday.

Jeong Darae of South Korea beat her fellow South Korean Jung Seul Ki for the silver medal at 2:24.90. Jung was third at 2:25.10.
